Bacterial cell cycle control
& stress adaptation
Our group studies how bacteria regulate their own growth and reproduction under changing environmental conditions.
We use a combination of genetics, cell biology, biochemistry and omics approaches to dissect the molecular mechanisms underlying bacterial growth, cell cycle regulation and stress responses.
We anticipate that our research will lead to a better understanding of the
fundamental processes of cellular life and new strategies to better control
bacterial growth in industry and medicine.
